It shouldn't but the point is how can you measure exactly how saintly or
wicked he was in the past when the set of data points is so huge?

Even the jivanmuktas do have to endure the last traces of prarabdha karma.
It is impossible to fix the past but by understanding the truth of Brahman
_now_ they ensure there will be no further suffering in the future.
