[Advaita-l] pramANas for Advaita: which work defined them first ?

The pramanas accepted by advaita vedanta are actually those accepted by 
the Mimamsakas specifically the BhAttas (followers of Kumarila)  There is 
an explicit statement to this effect in one of Shankaracharyas bhashyas 
but I cannot recall exactly where at the moment.
