[Advaita-l] Adi Sankara knew Earth is round and rotating

I am reminded of another quote from Chandogya 3-10-4

"udayascha nAma savitustannivasinAm prANinAm chakshurgOcharApattih ;
tadatyayascha astamanam; na paramArThatah udayAstamAnE"

The Sun is not moving; There is no Sun-rise and Sun-set in reality.
