Namaste.

The following verse is familiar to many as occurring in the dhyAnashloka
section of the srIviShNusahasranAmastotram:

bhūḥ pādau yasya nābhir-viyadasu-ranila-candrasūryau ca netre
karṇāvāśāḥ śiro-dyaur mukhamapi dahano yasya vāsteyamabdhiḥ |
antasthaṁ yasya viśvaṁ sura-nara-khaga-go-bhogi-gandharva-daityaiḥ
citraṁ raṁramyate taṁ tribhuvana-vapuṣaṁ viṣṇu-mīśam namāmi ||

Recently while reading the 'shruti-sAra-samuddharaNam' of srI tOTakAchArya
(direct disciple of Sri Shankaracharya) I found this verse as the last one
with a slightly different reading in the first line:

In order to check if it is in the Mahabharatha I gave a search in the newly
given website and got a negative result. Could anyone please give
references to where (else) this verse is found in ancient texts?

Regards,
