[Advaita-l] I need some clarifications + assistance

About meeting the spirit of your father, what I feel is that, if your
father has any desire or wish that he wishes to communicate with you, he
would do so through dreams. You may mentally remember your father and say
the same that he can communicate with you through dreams if he has anything
to be done.

Secondly, I do not think it is wise to hunt for people who can make your
talk to your father's departed spirit. It could be done, but may not be
wise option. Instead if you really feel that you need to communicate, you
may do sadhana yourself with proper sankalpa and surrender to God. Let God
decide if it be good for you to meet your father or not.

Further, your father lives through you. So, says the scriptures. The best
way is for you to perform your duties-material and spiritual. This would be
beneficial for everyone.

This is my humble opinion.
