[Advaita-l] aruNa prashna & upanishad chanting in evening

I do not know about any rules, but the practice that I have observed is that Aruna praSna and Upanishads are recited only before eating lunch. In our Veda sabha, though they start with the first ashTaka and proceed in order, just before lunch, the last ashTaka is taken up and the Upanishad portion is finished.

I have similarly heard that Aruna praSna is recited before having lunch.
