mama naastyeva sarvadaa |
  svaprakaashaikaruupo.aham.h
ahamevaahamavyayaH || 9 ||

  "That First body produced from maayaa,
indeed is never mine. I am self-luminous,
of one form, invariable unalterable, I
am indeed That.  I am imperishable." (9)

  guNatrayavyatiito.aham.h
brahmaadiinaaM cha saakShyaham.h |
  anantaanandaruupo.aham.h
ahamevaahamavyayaH || 10 ||

  "I have overcome the three guNas (sattva,
rajas, tamas) and I give evidence for
possessing unimpaired goodness of Brahma.
I am the nature of limitless joy, I am indeed
That. I am imperishable."(10)
