AmnAya stotram.h : Verse 10

[Ravisankar Mayavaram]

AchAryaH kathitastatra nAmnA lokeShu vishrutaH |
khAtaM mahodadhItIrtaM R^igvedas samAhR^itaH || 10||

The Acharya of govardhana maTha (shrI hastAmalaka) who was spoken
of in the last verse, is well known in the world. The ocean (Bay
of Bengal) is the sacred water body of the maTha. It is mentioned
that the veda assigned to the maTha is R^igveda.
