Proabably I mixed up with "Manu nIdhi Chozhan". He is known 
for some other great sacrifice. He ran his chariot over his 
own son in order to pacify a cow whose calf was run over by 
the son's chariot.

The vulture-pigeon episode may be related to "Siby", then.
