Actually, advaita does accept the possibility of krama-mukti, or liberation 
in stages, which includes sAlokya etc. This is achieved by saguNaSaraNa-s. 
However, we also emphasize that Sruti talks of parama-sAmya, not just the 
abovementioned four types.
