There is a relevant shloka in the VivekachUDAmaNi
which talks about titikShA. 

"sahanaM sarvaduHkhAnAm apratikArapUrvakam |
chintAvilAparahitaM sA titikShA nigadyate  ||"

For me both BG 2:14 and this come to mind together.
They provide a lot of solace.
