Pl. refer to the Kathopanishad  १.२.१२ :

तं दुर्दर्शं गूढमनुप्रविष्टं गुहाहितं गव्हरेष्ठं पुराणम्।
*अध्यात्मयोगाधिगमेन* देवं मत्वा धीरो हर्षशोकौ जहाति।। १२।।

Shankara in this bhashya defines what this 'adhyAtmayoga' is:

विषयेभ्यः प्रतिसंहृत्य चेतस आत्मनि समाधानम् अध्यात्मयोगः ।
That is adhyAtmayoga which involves the withdrawing of the mind from
objective knowledge and concentrating on the Atman.

This adhyAtmayoga is detailed in the Kathopanishad 2.3.10 and 11. This
portion can be studied with the bhashya. Shankara refers to this in the
Brahmasutra bhashya under reference.
