Be careful of words like "merely"  I think the biggest mistake people make 
about Advaita Vedanta is to take a reductionist approach.  One is 
destroying delusions yes, but destroying them by expanding them not 
eliminating them.  This is bhakti and the endpoint of bhakti is jnana.
