[Advaita-l] Shankara and Kriya Yoga

Dear
Kriya yoga or simply Kriya is also associated with Sri Sri Ravishankar.He was a disciple of Maharishi Mahesh yogi who also was advocating Transcendental Meditation.In short all gurus were trying to teach techniques to improve the mental power of the common people to enable them lead a balanced life.What is disputed is that whether Mahavathar Babaji was the initiator of Kriya yoga to Sri Bhagavadpadha.To me it seems not possible unless some forced conclusions are accepted.However I think so much exercise is not required on this topic.R"Krishnamoorthy.
