[Advaita-l] In defense of Advaita and Vivarta-Vada

An observation-
Why did the Brahmins forsake their Dharma in first place? It is because
they were also overtaken by desires of material pleasures. This itself show
that the Brahmana Guna's like Indriya Nigraha was lacking. Previously,
one's Guna, Jati and Varna Dharma all were aligned.
But,today as its Kali yuga, everything is messed up. Its good if Brahmins
leave their hypocrisy and superior feelings and start practicing their
Dharma to the best of their abilities. But, if we find someone from other
jati having Brahmana Guna, we should help him perform the Brahmana Dharma
too.
That was my point. Of course, only a Guru can properly judge the Guna and
need of people.
