[Advaita-l] Gita translations

Thanks for the replies that have been shared.
Yes true, best would be to only read and study the Sanskrit but I'm not there yet.
I have been looking at many different translations now (not commentaries) and every single one is different.
Isn't there one that is accepted as a main translation for Advaita Vedanta?
Specifically I would be looking for a pocket edition of that.

If you want only the Sanskrit original, then that edition (I do not have it; I rely on the Vani Vilas Press edition) should be good, but if we are talking of translations, Gita Press usually translates the commentary of Sri J. Goendka (if memory serves right), which is a somewhat free-wheeling commentary.
