It is only the British Rule brainwashed all Indians to think beauty is
skin deep and beautiful skin is white skin only. Before that Indians
appreciated beauty by features and not by skin colour. The most famous
beautiful woman was Draupadi. She was dark skinned. She became more
and more beautiful with age. Krishna was the most handsome and he was
also dark skinned. Arjuna was also dark skinned. His father Pandu used
to call him Krishna because he was dark and not fair like his
brothers.
