[Advaita-l] What is the meaning of the word 'samatva' (समत्व) in vedanta?

Samatvam - is seeing oneness in spite of apparent superficial differences at attributive level. Sama darshanam - the famous sloka - vidya vinaya sampanne ... panDitAH samadarshinaH. They see oneness that pervades the apparent plurality.
