Dear Subbuji,

Thank you for this information. It is surprising that the dvaita scholars are unaware of the arguments Shri Madhvacharya posed against his advaitin guru. May be the entire thing of Shri Madhvacharya's winning over his advaitin guru in a debate,  is a myth,  like the text of  the Brahmatarka.

I find that the Bhandarkeri math is situated in Barkur, which is 16 KM to the north of Updi and its guru-parampara says that Shri Madhvacharya was the second guru and the thirty-third guru is heading the math now. It is separate from the eight maths established by Shr Madhvacharya in Udipi and is also separate from the ninth dvaita math called Deshashtha math.
