[Advaita-l] Ghranas and dharmic affects

This phenomena occur internally in the पिण्डाण्डः.  

महामहेश्वर अभिनवगुप्तपादः says:

तत्र च वेद्यरूपसोमसहभूतो मायाप्रमातृराहुः स्वभावतया विलापनाशक्तः केवलं आच्छादनमात्रसमर्थः सूर्यगतंचान्द्रं अमृतं पिबति । 
प्रमातृप्रमाणप्रमेयत्रितयाविभागकारित्वात् स पुण्यः कालः पारलौकिकफलप्रदः ॥

The grahaNa-kAla is the most auspicious event and moon enters into the sun.  Due to this, अमृत in the चन्द्रः 
starts trickling (अमृतस्रावः) and the राहु tries to taste that nectar.  As  अभिनवगुप्तपादः Himself says that this grand phenomenon 
is पुण्यः कालः and is पारलौकिक फलप्रदः

When the nectar trickles, the yogis try to taste this and get liberated.

अमृतं स्त्रवन्ते चन्द्रो रहुश्च ग्रसते तु तत् ।
पीत्वा त्यजति तत्बिम्बं तदा मुक्तः स उच्यते ॥
