The above has been amply addressed in many places in the prasthānatraya
bhāṣya, which has been clearly not noticed by the opponent schools and they
raise this objection repeatedly:
BSB 2.1.14
नन्वेकत्वैकान्ताभ्युपगमे नानात्वाभावात्प्रत्यक्षादीनि लौकिकानि प्रमाणानि
व्याहन्येरन् , निर्विषयत्वात् , स्थाण्वादिष्विव पुरुषादिज्ञानानि ; तथा
विधिप्रतिषेधशास्त्रमपि भेदापेक्षत्वात्तदभावे व्याहन्येत ;
मोक्षशास्त्रस्यापि शिष्यशासित्रादि भेदापेक्षत्वात्तदभावे व्याघातः स्यात् ;
कथं चानृतेन मोक्षशास्त्रेण प्रतिपादितस्यात्मैकत्वस्य सत्यत्वमुपपद्येतेति ।
अत्रोच्यते — नैष दोषः, सर्वव्यवहाराणामेव
प्राग्ब्रह्मात्मताविज्ञानात्सत्यत्वोपपत्तेः स्वप्नव्यवहारस्येव
प्राक्प्रबोधात् ; यावद्धि न
सत्यात्मैकत्वप्रतिपत्तिस्तावत्प्रमाणप्रमेयफललक्षणेषु
विकारेष्वनृतत्वबुद्धिर्न कस्यचिदुत्पद्यते ; विकारानेव तु ‘ अहम्’ ‘ मम’
इत्यविद्यया आत्मात्मीयेन भावेन सर्वो जन्तुः प्रतिपद्यते स्वाभाविकीं
ब्रह्मात्मतां हित्वा ; तस्मात्प्राग्ब्रह्मात्मताप्रतिबोधादुपपन्नः सर्वो
लौकिको वैदिकश्च व्यवहारः — यथा सुप्तस्य प्राकृतस्य जनस्य स्वप्ने
उच्चावचान्भावान्पश्यतो निश्चितमेव प्रत्यक्षाभिमतं विज्ञानं भवति
प्राक्प्रबोधात् , न च प्रत्यक्षाभासाभिप्रायस्तत्काले भवति, तद्वत् ।
All vyavahara including vidhi-pratishedha, involving adhikāri bheda, are
quite valid and applicable, and effective, before one attains to the aikya
jnānam. Even in the very opening document, the 'adhyāsa bhāṣya', this has
been well stated.
