Sri Dikshitar had prophesied about the self-styled god men and how they fool the people.  

Just wear ochre robes, apply bhasma on your forehead, hold rudraaksha maala in hand, occasionally close the eyes  and blabber "ahaM brahma asmi".   
People will flock around you.
