Dear Acharya Sadananadaji,
Pranams to you.
The "Prior" is used in the same sense as the word "agra" is used
in the mantra 1-1-1 of Aitareya Upanishad, mantra 6-2-1 0f
Chandogya Upanishad and the mantra 4-4-18 of
Bruhadaranyaka Upanishad, the mantras which, I hope,
you are familiar.
With respectful namaskars,
Sreenivasa Murthy

I suspect this quote -  " ........................................,
                             and
the truth of WHAT YOU ARE is prior to the mind".
may be out of context. -The word 'prior to the mind' - involves the time factor. Question - can there be a 'time' prior to the mind?

 Dear friends,

" All questions and answers are mind,
                             and
the truth of WHAT YOU ARE is prior to the mind".
The very moment the above stated fact is cognized within oneself by oneself
there will be an end to jnAtRutva and other notions about oneself.
THIS  IS MOKSHA .
                 Thus taught my Revered Guru.

With respectful namaskars,
Sreenivasa Murthy
