[Advaita-l] Guru

Do not look for a guru. You will know your guru when you discover in your heart.
My suggestion to you since you live in Mumbai, is to go to Chinmaya Mission in Powai and listen to the Vedanta talks and meet the Swami Prabodhanandaji there. You can mention my name if you want to and discuss with him your concerns. He will advise you on what to do. 
When you feel that you have gained knowledge you develop a reverential attitude towards the person who taught you and your feel ever grateful and that is your guru.
