Bhajans can be sung before mantra pushpam, as part of stotra / sangeetha
seva.  For karupura neerajanam appropriate veda mantras are there.  If no
one knows mantras there, one can adopt other suitable songs.  It is also
possible for mantra being chanted by a group and the Om Jai ....sung by
another group at a distance, simultaneously.
