Avidya > kAma > karma > samsara cycle is taught in the Brihadaranyaka
Upanishad. Yet, the Acharyas have emphasized that when the kArya is
addressed, the kAraNa too is deemed to have been addressed. The
Vivekachudamani has verses on this.
