Dear Sir, In further elaboration of the difference:Boththese systems share the name Mimamsa for both deal with interpretation of the Veda. They together make the Mimamsa system in full. However, as Jaimini Sutrasdeal with the karmakhanda, the former part of the Veda, judicial interpretationand Vendanta Sutras or Brahma Sutras of Badarayana deal with interpretation ofUpasnihads. More details can be found here.
Here is the Link which clearly explains the difference, it is a Pdf file.http://shodhganga.inflibnet.ac.in/bitstream/10603/25297/10/10_chapter%205.pdf

Dear Sir, Both are based on different approaches and Mimamsa (purva) is based on 'Karma Siddanta', where as uttara mimamsa is based on vedanta. Although Karma siddanta does not requires vedanta, it is just based on its fruits of action. Purva mimamsa i.e Karma mimamsa (prior enquiry) based on perception, inference, comparisons, anumana & anumeya's which are nicely desciribed by Prabhakara where as Bhatta describes 'anupalabdhi' i.e Non-perception, beyond cognition. Ultimately Mimamsa arouses the desire to think & its interpretations,Purvamimamsa tells us how to reach the highest form of god with the help of dharma (ethical actions/duty). It follows the karma-kanda with ritual as ordained by veda's. It also takes the help of nyaya as pramama.
where as the uttara mimamsa is based on 'Jnanam' , highly goes with Vedanta interpretation which leads to liberation does not required to follow the karma-kanda which I understood, pls correct if any views may went wrong.

We find that the Pūrva Mīmāmsā has two major streams: Bhāṭṭa and
Prābhākara. śeveral concepts have distinct meanings in the two streams, as
different/opposed to each other.
In Vedanta too we have the well known streams: Bhāmatī and Vivaraṇa.
Several concepts have distinct meanings in the two streams, as
different/opposed to each other.
Is it possible to compare the two śāstra-s on the above ground?
