[Advaita-l] Excerpts from Sri Sankara Digvijaya - 13

Dear Sir,                I hope this has fulfilled the answer for the question raised by Sh. Ryan Armstrong , "could someone provide an authoritative answer as to who the first
Shankaraacharya appointed by Aadi Shankara".

This is some authoritative answer which we can tell any one of the next generation. 

May I also request to clarify that Sureswaracharya was madana mishra only who has an expert knowledge in Tarka/mimamsa sastra and  Adi Shankara stayed in that place during his last days before he proceeds to Kailasha.

I have checked through Madhaviya Shankara Digvijaya once again, at the same
location as in the above quote also, both in the version with Tika as well
as just the translation by Swami ​Tapasyananda of Sri Ramakrishna Mutt. The
Amnaya Mutts are not specifically listed in the work. I had earlier
clarified based on a kannada text claiming to be based on Madhaviya
Shankara Digvijaya.

I have sought clarification from Sringeri Mutt via the Feedback route since
the above quote is from one of their publications. I hope I will get a
response. If I do, I will post the same here.
