A very fine observation by Rupert Spira.  I am reminded of Swami
Paramarthananda's words: A film with sequences of a fire, a storm, a
Tsunami, scenes of bloodshed, etc. will never leave the screen burnt, wet,
torn, blood-stained, etc.  So too the Atman is never affected by anything
that happens to the body-mind and Brahman by anything that happens in the
cosmos. This is a summary of the Mandukya Upanishad 7th mantra.
