Taittereeya says satyaM jnAnaM ananthaM brahma...But can we say these are the qualities that define the brahma and categorically say these are the three brahma's svarUpa lakshaNa when Advaita emphatically propagates the absolute nirvishesha, nirguNa brahma? bhAshyakAra himself clarifies in the same up. bhAshya that brahman cannot be denoted by the (svarUpa ) lakshaNa or appellations like satyaM, jnAnaM bliss etc. These words are mere indicator (lakshyate) and does not mean that brahman is explicitly expressed by these words. So what is the definition of brahman that suits to denote brahman 'idamittham'?? Frankly there is no word that explicitly explains the nature of brahman, hence shruti says 'neti neti'. Ofcourse don’t we say our advaitic brahman is devoid of all / any specific feature. Yato vAcho nivartante aprApya manasa saha, says the same up.
Hari Hari Hari Bol!!!
