Dear Sri Keshava mahaseva,
""17. Mention of an instance in Ribhu Gita where Vishnu initiates his devotee
into Shiva Dharma and also says Shiva is the only give of Moksha and Moksha
can be acquired only by the grace of Shiva (Kind of matches with Ishvara
anugraha deva pumsam advaita vasana verse of Avadhuta Gita)."
What is moksha?Sri Shankara writes : nityatvAt mOkShasya,
sAdhakasvarUpAvyatirEkAcca || It means : Moksha is eternal and
it is sadhaka's svarUpa only.
Can one's svarupa be given by another entity
which includes siva and vishnu? Can one be away from his svarupa?
Kindly note that theological gods
have no place in Advaita Vedanta.
So many writers who have not understood
the genuine tradition of Upanishads and Sri Shankara
make such erroneous statements. A genuine seeker
will be misled by such erroneous statements.
Seekers of Truth should be very careful.
With warm regards,Sreenivasa Murthy
