Dear Members,
From Sri Krishna Karnamrutham, Chapter 2, Verse 108:
by Bilva Mangala Swami alias Leela Sukhar (AD 1220-1300)
kasturi tilakam lalata phalake vakshasthale kaustubham
naasagre navamauktikam karatale venum kare kankanam |
sarvange harichandanam kalayan kantheca muktaavali
gopastree pariveshtito vijayate gopala chudaamanih ||
He who wears Tilaka made of Kasturi in his broad forehead, Wearer of Koustubha, the rarest of gems, in his majestic chest. He who wears the rarest of pearls in the bridge of his nose, carries a flute in his hand, and beautiful bangles of gold. He who wears soulful sandal all over his body, and the rarest of all gems in this world around his neck, and plays with the Gopika damsels. Victory to you, Oh, Lord Krishna !
