We can consider an analogy that is Vedanta-friendly. Even if a 'little'
avidya is present one cannot be said to be liberated.

Brihadaranyaka bhashya 4.3.20:*

We have the Bh.gita 6th chapter case of 'yoga bhrashTa' who, having
practiced Atma sadhana, dies before attaining the aparoksha jnana. He has
to be born again and continue the sadhana.

Swami Paramarthananda says: Even a person destined to go to Brahmaloka (for
krama mukti) is deemed to be an ajnani.

There is no part jnana and liberation.
