[Advaita-l] Learning Veda Electronically

Dear All,

Is it permissible to learn Veda from a 
guru through phone call or through FaceTime or Skype?

I don’t imagine the Shastra 
answers this directly. 
But does it? 

If not, can we infer the answer
through Shastra?
