Since you have asked about instances of rajju-sarpa in 'Vedanta', I give
below a few in the Brahma Sutra Bhashya:

BSB 1.1.4:

तत्परिहृतम् ; ‘रज्जुरियम् , नायं सर्पः’ इति वस्तुमात्रकथनेऽपि प्रयोजनस्य
दृष्टत्वात् ।

BSB 1.4.6:

यथा कश्चित्संतमसे पतितां काञ्चिद्रज्जुमहिं मन्यमानो भीतो वेपमानः पलायते, तं
चापरो ब्रूयात् ‘मा भैषीः नायमहिः रज्जुरेव’ इति, स च तदुपश्रुत्याहिकृतं
भयमुत्सृजेद्वेपथुं पलायनं च,

BSB 3.2.21:

 न, निष्प्रपञ्चब्रह्मात्मत्वावेदनेनैव उभयसिद्धेः — रज्जुस्वरूपप्रकाशनेनैव
हि तत्स्वरूपविज्ञानम् अविद्याध्यस्तसर्पादिप्रपञ्चप्रविलयश्च भवति ;
