Yes. It has no reality like that of Brahman. As stated by Sureshwaracharya:
Upon the realization of the truth based on statements such as Tat tvam asi,
avidya, along with its effects 'is not, was not, will not be.'

Contrary to this status of avidya, Brahman (alone) is, was and ever will
be.
