No!!!  not so at least as per scholars in Advaita tradition.  The main source material for the propagation of ajAtavAda is in mAndUkya kArika where it has been declared by gaUdapAdAchArya that nanirOdhO nachOtpattiH na bandh Ona cha sAdhakaH etc.  to maintain absolute nature of nirvikalpa, nirvishesha, nirguNa brahman.  That which is void (shUnya) of the shUnyavAdins is verily the brahman of the mAyAvAdin since there is no significant difference in either of them as both are featureless and traceless.  So says dualists. And  in continuation they say another sub-school of buddha i.e.nagArjuna’s vijnAnavAda too similar to drushti-srushti vAda of mAyAvadin, you look hence there is creation and its all in mind and nothing else outside 😊 So at the surface level, Advaita vedAnta looks like shUnyavAda or vijnAnavAda sometimes but that is not the case since it follows vedic tradition not the nAstika vAda of bhddhism.  So now the question is, how this nirguNa and nirvishesha vedOkta para brahmaN can be contrasted with that of shUnyatva of Buddhism??  Well that would  be worthy exercise to know the difference with the help of kArika and bhAshya.  Perhaps scholars in this group would help in this regard.
