[Advaita-l] [advaitin] Vishnu is Brahma and Shiva as well - Bhishma in MB

Namaste

It is like this. A wise woman knows that all persons are Brahman only and
there is nothing but Brahman. Aham Brahmasmi is true for every person. But
she will not make the mistake of treating all men as her husband. Her
husband is special to her though she accepts other men also as Brahma
Svarupa.

A Bhakta has special affection and love for his Ishta Devata. He accepts
the Abheda between Vishnu and Shiva but still has special Bhakti to one of
them as Ishta Devata. There is nothing wrong in this.
