Dear Members, Today's Speaking Tree article in TOI speaks something about the Sate of Being by an excellent & Vedanta Teacher , Shri.Swami Sukhabodhananda.
In the Mahabharat, Krishna’s communication with Arjun is more from being to being than intellect to intellect. The master is not focussed on information but on one’s state of ‘being’, so that existential ignorance can be destroyed. A master’s device is like a window leading one to the sky. By surrendering to the master, one is led to God. The Hassidic saying goes, ‘When God gives something, He does not give to you, but through you.’
The role of a master is to awaken, and in that awakening, one becomes an absence but filled with Divine presence. This is a Divine art, to be absent and at the same time be present. The job is over and the Master is present everywhere. He is here/there or He is not there , never doubt his presence. He is every where & It all depends on the outlook what we have, one has to see within. He is the embodiment of VIVEKA.
The Transmitter job is to awaken the disciple, thats it, if the device is non functional that doesn't mean that the manufacturer is wrong. Device is correct, only thing is, it not awakened. Often , there is saying in Andhra that if your Gold is pure ( i.e 24 carots with out any contamination), you shouldn't blame the Swarnakar.
This is one of the greatest paradoxes of spirituality.

Pandit Sri Sri Ravishankar says: VIVEKA means discrimination, the knowledge that everything is changing time and again you have to reawaken to this. : That the world, people, our body, our emotions and everything all constantly changing . When you explore sorrow, understand that viveka has been overshadowed. When you follow fun, misery follows you. When you follow knowledge fun follows you. Since you dont have any option other than these two, so one has to face off.
