Namaste
On this auspicious occasion of krishna janmastami(today and tomorrow) the
supreme lord janardhana takes his form as krishna. As the lord declares in
gita-
 paritrāṇāya sādhūnāṁ vināśhāya cha duṣhkṛitām
dharma-sansthāpanārthāya sambhavāmi yuge yuge
To establish dharma and destroy unrighteousness he takes birth every yuga.
And in dvapara yuga he takes his wonderful form as Murari.

He is without birth and yet he is devakiputra. He is omnipresent and yet
he is the resident of vaikuntha. He is present in everyones heart(as
antaryami) and yet to get his vision is most difficult.
He is nirguna and yet he has the most divine form. He is the lord of the
entire universe and yet he is pleased with the offering of even a leaf(with
devotion). He is Just in awarding the fruit of actions and yet he is the
most compassionate . He is equal to all and has no attachment or
enimity towards
anyone and yet he is bakthavatsala . He is neither bound by actions nor has
the obligation to do karma and yet he is the epitome of dharma. He is
narasimha to the unrighteous and kodanda rama to his devotees. He is chinna
krishna and yet his two steps covered the entire universe(as vamana). He is
destroyer of asuras and yet the cause of their liberation.

He is the essence of vedas and the supreme para brahman in upanishads. He
is the goal of puranas and the essence of the ithihasas(ramayana and MB).
His breath is the shruthi texts and his commands are the smruti texts. He
is the purusha of purusha suktham and the rudra of shatarudriya. He is
tryambaka of mrityunjaya mantram(narsimha tapaniya upanishad) and he is the
supreme knowledge that gives liberation. He is the one who is worshiped
through all the vedas and obalations. He himself is yajna(shruthi). All the
prayers to all the devatas are to him alone(gita). The merit one attains
through the reading of vedas is attained through propiating him(sarva
vedeshu yat punyam). Infact no human is able to commit sin to the extent
where Hari nama cant remove it(vishnu purana).
The agitations of the mind(such as anger, desire etc) are only existent till
hari is not firmly planted in ones heart. When Harinama is present what
need is there for fear? Just as fire burns wood to ashes so does devotion
to the lord burn away the karma(udhava gita). Yama is suprised that people
are falling into hell when the name "hari" is there (garuda purana). For
one who has said "i am yours" to hari what should he be worried about?

He is brahma at the time of creation and rudra at the time of
destruction(narayana suktham). He is the heart of devatas( देवानाँ हृदयेभ्यः,
shatarudriya) and refuge of the 3 worlds(trilokaika sethum). He is
sarwottama,
sarveshwara,sarvajna,sarvatma,paripoorna,nithya,ananta,vasudeva,pradhyumna,anirudha,rama,krishna,brahma,rudra,indra
and all the devatas. He is one without a second. He is one without an
equal. He is the refuge of entire universe.
The thousand heads of anantha weren't enough to describe the greatness of
hari, so what capacity do my words have?

namo narayana
