 Dear Sri Kaushik Chevendra,
Your reply has no bearing upon my questions.Whatever has to be accepted as truth only when verified in one's ownanuBava.
How have you accepted that What Sri Shankara has said is a truth,
not something born out from speculation? Please convince me.
With respectful regards,Sreenivasa Murthy

 Namaste sir

Can that be established as a fact?

If Shruthi is accepted as a pramana then ist already an established fact

Have you cognized this within yourself by yourself?Or simply you have accepted because Sri Shankara has told?

Assuming that shri Shankaracharya was a realised soul and taught the true meaning of veda it can verily be accepted just because acharya has said it. Because for jnana of Atman to dawn, strong belief in shastra and guru vakya is mandated which later leads to shravan and manana. As the strong faith in guru vakya is a prerequisite for the realisation of Atman, the problem with your question is evident.

Some body may question you like this. How are you going to explain and convince him that this is a fact?

If one accepts veda pramana then there is no need to "convince" him about the Shruthi vakya. If not, it's a waste of time to convince him as such realisation doesn't come without manana of Shruthi vakya
