Jagadgurus at Udumalaipettai
 
ARRIVAL
 
Sri Mahasannidhanam and Sri Sannidhanam arrived at Udumalaipettai to a devout welcome on April 23, 2017 at around 6 pm. After Dhuli Pada Pooja and
Veda Ghosha, a Tamil Swagata Patrika  welcoming the Jagadgurus to Udumalaipettai were read out and offered to the Jagadgurus. 
 
Sri Mahasannidhanam in His Anugraha Bhashanam said that we must never forget Bhagavan under any circumstances. It is the Lord who protected us when
we were in the most helpless state of being in the mother’s womb. Hence, it is He who truly protects us under all circumstances – 
 
  यो मे गर्भगतस्यापि वृत्तिं कल्पितवान् प्रभुः ।
शेषवृत्तिविधाने तु सुप्तः किं नु मृतोऽथवा ॥
 
Sri Mahasannidhanam explained the need for faith in God by quoting instances from the childhood of Sri Adi Shankara Bhagavatpada and from the life
of the great devotee, Prahlada. 
 
Thereafter, Sri Sannidhanam performed the Sharada Chandramoulishwara Pooja. 
 
VISITS
 
On the morning of April 24, 2017, Sri Sannidhanam graced the Atmalayam  Swami Dayananda Aim for Seva Free student home in Udumalaipettai. The home
supports the education of many needy girls in the vicinity and also offers vocational training. Swamini Gurupriyananda Saraswati reverentially
welcomed Sri Sannidhanam and remembered how Swami Dayananada Saraswati always referred to the Sringeri Jagadgurus as the ideal Peethadhipatis
and upholders of the Sampradaya of Vedanta. Sri Sannidhanam blessed the gathering with an Anugraha Bhashanam.
 
Sri Sannidhanam then laid the foundation for a Venkataramana Swamy temple in Udumalaipettai.
 
Later, Sri Mahasannidhanam and Sri Sannidhanam gave Darshan to the devotees. After blessing the devotees with Mantrakshata, the Jagadgurus started
from Udumalaipettai towards Coimbatore. 
 
En route to Coimbatore, Sri Mahasannidhanam and Sri Sannidhanam also graced the large number of devotees at Pollachi. Sri Mahasannidhanam blessed
the gathering at Pollachi with an Anugraha Bhashanam.
