[Advaita-l] What is Prakriti as per Shankaracharya?

 My Dear friend,
If your question needs a correct and an authentic answer, the following Upanishad mantras reveal the correct answer :
Mantra 5-1-1  Bruhadaranyaka Upanishad

Mantra 1-1     Aitareya Upanishad

Mantra 6-2-1 Chandogya Upanishad

Mantra 7-25-1 Chandogya Upanishad

Mantra 7-25-2 Chandogya Upanishad

Mantra 7-26-1 Chandogya Upanishad
Mantra 7-24-1 Chandogya Upanishad.
If you study the mantras in the order that has been statedthe answer will be revealed to you in your heart.
Any  other answer that is given or going to be given, will only be an intellectual speculation. The answers that are provided by Bhagavadgita or any other teacher is meant only for manda adhikaris.

Did Shankara mention in his Gita bhashya or other advaita texts about
Prakriti? Is Prakriti the same as Brahman or different from IT?
