Namaste.
On the auspicious day of ekadashi, I wanted to share a few thoughts on the
greatness of hari.
The power of the lord's name is well known by everyone, the shastras speak
of it very highly.
Vishnu purana says-
"That

which a man obtains in the Krita by abstract meditation, in the Treta by
sacrifice, in the Dvāpara by adoration, he receives in the Kali by merely
reciting the name of Keśava
<https://www.wisdomlib.org/definition/kesava#purana>".
Bagavatha purana says-
stenaḥ surā-po mitra-dhrug
brahma-hā guru-talpa-gaḥ
strī-rāja-pitṛ-go-hantā
ye ca pātakino ’pare
sarveṣām apy aghavatām
idam eva suniṣkṛtam
nāma-vyāharaṇaṁ viṣṇor
yatas tad-viṣayā matih

The vedas are restricted for the people without adhikara. And hence one
might think it is unfair as he isn't able to acquire punya. But it's not
so -
"Sarva vedeshu yat punyam, sarva theertheshu yat phalam, tat phalam
purushapnoti, stutva devam janardanam"

Hence people without the adhikara can attain the same merit by chanting his
name and thinking about him. Such being his immense mercy towards everyone.
