Q41. कुत्र विधेयो यत्नो?
Where should we direct our efforts?
A41. विद्याभ्यासे सदौषधे दाने ।
In the acquisition of knowledge, in proper medicines and in charity.
 
 
Q42. अवधीरणा का कार्या?
Where should we show lack of interest?
A42. खलपरयोषित्परधनेषु |
Towards bad people, the wife of another, and the property of another.
 
 
Q43. काऽहर्निशमनुचिन्त्या?
What should we think about, day and night?
A43. संसारासारता न तु प्रमदा।
About the futility of material life, and certainly not about what is
intoxicating for our senses and mind.
 
 
Q44. का प्रेयसी विधेया? 
What should we cultivate with love?
A44. करुणा दीनेषु सज्जने मैत्री |
Compassion and kindness to those who suffer or have been neglected,
and friendship with good and saintly people.
 
 
Q45. कण्ठगतैरप्यसुभिः कस्य ह्यात्मा न शक्यते जेतुम्?
Who can never be reformed, even at the cost of life?
A45. मूर्खस्य शंकितस्य विषादिनो वा कृतघ्नस्य |
A fool, a doubter, a morose person and the ungrateful.
 
 
Q46. कः साधुः?
Who is a good and saintly person?
A46. सद्वृत्तः |
One who does good.
 
 
Q47. कमधममाचक्षते? 
Who is a low-class person?
A47. त्वसद्वृत्तं।
Certainly someone who commits evil actions.
 
 
Q48. केन जितं जगदेतत्?
Who will conquer this world?
A48. सत्यतितिक्षावता पुंसा |
A man who has truthfulness and tolerance.
