Pride.

What brings happiness?
A36. साधुजनमैत्री ।
Friendship with good and saintly people.
 
 
Q37. सर्वव्यसनविनाशे को दक्षः? 
Who is expert in destroying all sorrow?
A37. सर्वथा त्यागी |
One who is always renounced.
 
 
Q38. किं मरणं?
What is death?
A38. मूर्खत्वं |
Foolishness.
 
 
Q39. किं चानर्घं?
What is priceless?
A39. यदवसरे दत्तं ।
That which is given at the proper time.  
 
 
Q40. आमरणात्किं शल्यं?
What pricks us until death?
A40. प्रच्छन्नं यत्कृतं पापं |
A bad action (sin) committed in secrecy.
