[Advaita-l] antahkaranavritti

I vaguely remember that Anthahkarana Vritti is the subject of Yoga than Vedanta.


The Vritti's are:

Valid Cognition (Pramana)

Misconception (Viparyaya)

Imagination (Vikalpa)

Sleep (Nidra)

Memory (Smriti)

Yoga sadhana ( which is experience based) is Nirodha of Anthahkarana. (Patanjali says - yogah Chitta Vritti Nirodhah)
