No I believe he is a modern day saint of dattatrya panth. 
As far as I know, the Shridharswami you are thinking of only wrote:

bhavarthadipika on Bhagavata Purana
atmaprakasha (or prakashiika) on Vishnu Purana
subodhini on Bhagavadgita.
