[Advaita-l] How Many Bhashyas Did Adi Shankara Write

Dear Sri Sreenivasa Murthy,

Nice to see your frank and outspoken view, that  it is not necessary to
ascertain which are the bhashyas written by Adi Shankaracharya. Your
statement may also mean that you are not sure about which are the authentic
Adi Shankara-bhashyas.

However, everybody may not endorse your view.  Swami Chinmayanandaji, whom
I admire, thought it necessary to name the bhshyas attributed to Adi
Shankaracharya, but unfortunately he had not given any reference to support
his view.
