[Advaita-l] Mahasudarshana Mantra and Homa question

I request learned members to kindly clarify if there is any mantra

Om raM sahasrAra hum phaT svAhA

Even granting that there are variations in the bIjAxaras, the word
sahasrAra without any sampradAna vibhakti ending like sahasrArAya made me
feel doubtful about its authenticity.

I heard this chanted in a home recently. The background of the performers
of that homam was not too strong; they did not come across as
knowledgeable, hence my doubt.
